Roger L. Schoenfeld, Associate Advisor
A
JD and CPA with significant operating and transaction experience
in the industrial sector, Roger Schoenfeld leveraged his skills
as a transactional attorney in Chicago to become a very successful
entrepreneur. Over the past twenty years, he acquired, founded
and operated custom metal components manufacturers, a metal safe
manufacturer, a title insurance company, and an M&A and consulting
boutique.
Roger sucessfully navigated his manufacturing companies through
a substantial business downturn through stringent cash management,
cost containment, debt reorganization and operating effciency
improvements. He has significant operating experience in many
aspects of the manufacturing environment, including accounting,
finance, operations, quality control, outsourcing, sales and marketing.
Mergers and acquisitions were a large part of the strategy and
growth behind his manufacturing business, that was sold to a larger
competitor. Since then Roger developed his corporate finance and
consulting practice to specialize in helping under-performing
industrial manufacturers and distributors with crisis management,
turnaround consulting and divestiture options.
Roger obtained his JD, with honors, from Georgetown University
Law Center and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He is married with
three sons. He serves on several boards of non-profit organizations
and coaches his sons' sports teams throughout the year.
